The surgery website is a most effective way of giving our patients access to help and the latest information 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It contains complete information about all the services we offer. It also details how the practice is organised and introduces our doctors, other medical and administrative staff and describes their various responsibilities.

You must be registered at the surgery first. To register, please telephone or drop in to confirm that you live in our catchment area. If you do, you will then be able to complete a registration form at the surgery.
To see a GP you must make an appointment (see below). You can book a face-to-face appointment in advance with a doctor by telephone or by calling in to the surgery. We will always try to offer you an appointment on the day you request but it may not always be possible.
Lance Lane Medical Centre operates an appointment system. Please telephone or call at the surgery during opening hours to make an appointment. You may not always be able to see the doctor of your choice, especially if you need to be seen urgently. If there are no appointments available and your need is urgent, you will be fitted in as an "emergency", this usually involves a wait. Patients who wish to be seen on the same day should ring the surgery at 8am.
If you wish to speak to a doctor the surgery can offer you a telephone consultation. If possible, please give a brief description of your concerns so we can assess how urgent the situation is. Doctor will normally return your call after morning sugery. Only very urgent calls will be put through to the doctor during surgery hours.
